Boston Extravaganza '02
Boston MA, July 2002

On July 20th there was a artcar get-together up in Boston. I was there with The Cat. In addition Karl showed up with Rozzie. We decorated the organizers car with removable paint, and in the same vein another artcar showed up that was a rolling chalkboard which we proceeded to decorate as well.

A group of three artcars from truemajority.com showed up. Among them was a chevy van turned into agiant piggy bank towing two smaller piggy banks. Also was a natural-gas powered Crown Victoria covered in tiny people. And finally was a Toyota Prius with a tree growing out of it.

Harrod Blank was there signing copies of his new book. In addition Rick McKinney (owner of The Duke though he didn't have it on this coast) was there. He is the one I got the large quote on the driver's door from. He was surprised to finally see The Cat. After a close study of the quote he signed the door.

This event was featured in an Article in the Boston Globe.

The next weekend I headed down to Baltimore for Artscape '02.
