The quilting buddies are a group of quilters in Connecticut & Rhode Island that get together to produce quilts for the Quilts of Valor project. The Quilts of Valor Foundation arranges for quilters across the country to sew quilts to be given to wounded soldiers from Irag & Afganistan. The Chaplains at the military hospitals arrange to distribute the quilts to the injured soldiers as the arrive at the hospitals.
The Quilting Buddies have sewn and sent out over eighty quilts. This site was put together to show the quilts they have made. If you are one of the soldiers who has recieved a 'Quilting Buddies' quilt we would love to hear from you.
